2016 Natural Building Workshops

2016 marks the first year that we begin hosting Natural Building Workshops at our new land and home, South Slope Farm, based outside of Berea, Kentucky in the amazing Clear Creek community. The latest chapter of The Year of Mud adventure starts here on this 28 acre hillside homestead in the gorgeous Appalachian foothills. Don’t forget: Sign up for our newsletter to hear the latest about our classes in 2016 and beyond.

Follow The Year of Mud blog (now in its 8th year) beginning with the construction of a little cob house known as “Gobcobatron”, which has since been featured in several publications and a multitude of websites. The Year of Mud chronicles our personal journey in the world of natural building and striving towards a low impact, handmade life. The blog is full of personal stories about building Gobcobatron, our second home (a timber frame & straw bale house), and our continuing adventures in the world of natural building.
